Hi! We're Angela and Cory Hurtado, the husband and wife team behind Hurtado Farms.Originally from Mineral Wells,Tx, we took a leap of faith and moved to West Texas, where our journey with goat milk products began.
Living in the dry, windy climate of West Texas took a toll on our skin-constant itching, dryness, and discomfort.With goats already a part of our daily life and Angela working at a Veterinary Clinic, a simple suggestion changed our lives.After a lot of research and experimentation, we made our 1st batch of goat milk soap.The difference was immediate-our skin felt nourished, healthy, and calm.
Soon our family began using our soap and loving the results, too. That encouragement led us to local farmers markets,where we started selling our handcrafted soaps to help cover the cost of high quality oils and butters. From there, we expanded into lotions, sugar scrubs, and even pet shampoo, plus so much more- replacing store bought products with natural, goat milk based alternatives that truly worked for us.
Now back in our hometown of Mineral Wells, Tx, We are Proud to have a store front downtown where we share our products with our community. Everything we make is crafted with care, using farm-fresh goat milk and ingredients we trust.
